The right kind of lipstick can transform the way to look. If you are not sure of which lipstick to get try testing before buying the lipstick to check which lipstick is the right shade for you. Neutral colours like peach and pink are mainly for day wear. whereas colours like brown and different tones of red look good in the evening.
Try the shade of lip colour on the index finger instead of the back of the hand as this will be the best spot for checking the shade of the lipstick.
Before applying the lipstick, make sure you define your lips first with a lip pencil preferably the same shade as the lipstick your going to wear. Defining the lips will show the shape of the lips and make your lipstick last longer than usual.
To make the colour of lipstick you have on last longer first apply it on the lips and then blot with a tissue, then apply a lip gloss to make the lips shine and last longer.
